THOMPSON'S LEVEL
   
Level opposite Smallcleugh Mine at Nenthead.  Thompson's Level is currently collapsed about 75 metres (80 yards) in but the Nenthead Mines Conservation Society will be clearing the blockage in the near future and it is hoped that this mine will reveal a lot of passages and workings waiting to be rediscovered.
