Not far from High Skears Farm near Middleton in Teesdale.  Skears Firestone Level is a long adit where it is still possible to see the portal from the far end.  There are several passages branching off and a ladder climb from a bridge about halfway along leads down to some interesting workings and nice calcite flowstone formations which have been gated off to preserve them.
